Are you a Renewable Energy Specialist in solar power, wind power or hydro power?  We have an exciting Senior role in our established Water, Ports and Power team, based in Edinburgh providing technical support on a variety of projects.
 
The Team
Our Power team has delivered some of the most high-profile projects across the UK and globally, so your projects and clients will be varied and interesting. Examples of our current projects:
• Solar PV projects in Africa
• Pump storage hydro in the UK and elsewhere
•  Wind power projects in Scotland
 
The Role
As Senior Renewables Engineer, you will be a senior member of the business and responsible for leading project teams, and developing and maintaining client relationships.
 
You will be expected to be able to review and generate technical and contractual information from both internal and external sources.
 
You will have a background in the renewable energy industry working with equipment suppliers, developers, asset owners or power utilities with some consulting experience being ideal. You will also have strong technical knowledge, communication and project management skills and the desire to grow their career at AECOM.

Minimum Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience 
•  Strong knowledge of renewable energy and experience in one or more of the following areas of activity: solar power, wind power or hydro power.
•  Engineering degree in mechanical, electrical or civil disciplines.
 
 

Preferred Qualifications
Desirable Skills & Experience
•  A Masters or equivalent further study in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering would be advantageous.
